When you publish your project for the very firsttime Project 2007 create a Project workspace in Sharepoint (3.0) 2007. Here you can add your documents, risks issues and much more.
The problem is that Project Server 2007 creates always the same Work Sapce and it is always empty.
You can create your own workspace template and have this template as default however you cannot change the templates based on your project type (ONLY with 2007 version).
or When you are using Microsoft Project 2003/2007 with PWA (Project Web Access) as timesheet or an external timesheet you will sometimes discover some errors, or when you have like hundreds of project in your project server and it is almost impossible to find what you are looking for, Or when you project client crashes and you find out there are several projects are checked out to you and you must check them in one by one in PWA, the following highlights possible errors in project-client:
With project doctor for MS project 2007 you can dynamically select templates based on your project type on the run. i.e. Before you publish you can select the template type from Customfields
and after the publish is finnished the desired project template will be created in the project server 2007. You can have as many Templates as you want. In order to use this feature you or your EPM partner must create diffenet Templates and register them.
