Burndownchart is a part of Scrum Development

With Adept ShareProject or the Project Simple tool, the project manager can see the trend of the progress, if the project will be on track,  days or weeks before.

This is done with the "Intelligent BurnDown Chart" incorporated into Adept Project Share and Projectsimple, which gives a better "future" horizon to the project manager (an important element in Scrum).  

Burndown Chart calculates and displays the 3 measurements:

Meas 1 - Projected Progress:  The projected line, illustrates the ETC (Estimate To Complition) burndown hours on an ideal scenario, so this line is your reference for other lines in the chart.

Meas 2 - Actual Progress:  The actual progress line, illustrates the ETC burndown hours for the current progress based on Actual works done by the team.

Meas 3 - Forecast Progress:  The Forecast progress line, illustrates the ETC burndown hours calculated based on the "Actual progress velocity" .The Forecast line will show, how Delay, the project is going to be, if it continiues its progress, as it is today.
